Assistant Project Manager – Facade (Construction)

About the role

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (or Senior Coordinator) to support the Façade Works team on the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort 2 (MBSIR2) development. The role involves close collaboration with internal design and project management teams as well as external consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update tracking schedules for shop drawings, RFIs, material submissions, method statements, ITPs, lifting plans, QA and safety plans.
• Coordinate documentation flow between the Façade Works team, the Main Contractor and Lead Consultant to ensure timely reviews and approvals.
• Monitor design changes from consultants and contractors, and track their impact on cost and schedule.
• Identify early warnings and risks related to cost and time, and support mitigation actions.
• Prepare progress meeting minutes, detailed project reports, work schedules and deviation analyses.
• Attend and minute design meetings, reviewing shop drawing preparation, equipment/material submissions and lead times.
• Track site progress against the Master Construction Programme, highlight deviations and assist in closing non‑conformance reports.
• Monitor construction activities for safety concerns and ensure compliance with safety plans.

Required profile

• BSc in Building/Construction Management, Building Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in façade, construction or related engineering projects, preferably on large‑scale developments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Construction scheduling and tracking.

• Knowledge of façade construction processes and standards.
• Familiarity with QA, safety plans and non‑conformance reporting.
