Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager – Plumbing, Sanitary & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to lead and deliver key projects focused on plumbing, sanitary and gas services. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from design through construction, while ensuring compliance with regulations and cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end projects involving plumbing, sanitary and gas services.
• Develop cost‑effective design and construction solutions for M&E services in building and infrastructure works.
• Control project budgets and monitor cost performance.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, including WSH and MOM guidelines.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules, reviewing construction programmes, methods and productivity.
• Lead design development for plumbing, sanitary and gas systems.
• Assess work progress for claim preparation and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, architects, authorities and project teams.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role with design and installation knowledge of plumbing, sanitary and gas systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with knowledge of cost and pricing techniques.
• Highly motivated, capable of independent work and demonstrating leadership in a challenging environment.
