Assistant Restaurant Manager – Beverage Operations

About the role

Assist in overseeing all aspects of AUREA's daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial targets. The role focuses heavily on coffee bar and bar service, leveraging professional certifications and hands‑on expertise to elevate beverage quality and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations including scheduling, inventory control, cost management and financial target achievement.
• Lead coffee bar quality control, ensuring consistency in espresso, milk‑based drinks and pour‑over beverages.
• Oversee cocktail preparation and bar service, maintaining recipe standards and quality expectations.
• Monitor beverage inventory (coffee beans, alcohol, ingredients), conduct regular stock takes and minimise waste.
• Train new hires on coffee preparation, beverage service and standard operating procedures.
• Drive upselling and pairing recommendations to increase average spend per guest.

Required profile

• Professional coffee or bar certifications with proven hands‑on experience in beverage operations.
• Demonstrated experience in restaurant or food‑and‑beverage management, including staff training and cost control.

Required skills

• Coffee brewing techniques (espresso, pour‑over, milk‑based drinks).
• Cocktail mixing and bar service.
