AVP/VP – Global Investment Banking Corporate Finance

About the role

Join OCBC’s Corporate Finance team as an AVP/VP and play a pivotal role in advising clients on strategic and capital‑raising transactions across Southeast Asia and Greater China. You will work on a broad spectrum of deals, including mergers & acquisitions and equity capital markets, collaborating closely with senior bankers and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of M&A and equity market transactions.
• Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Prepare pitchbooks, information memoranda, and management presentations.
• Coordinate due diligence, legal, and documentation processes.
• Manage transaction timelines and liaise with clients and external stakeholders.
• Support senior bankers in identifying and pitching new opportunities.
• Conduct industry and market research to generate actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5‑6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
• Demonstrated experience in deal execution, preferably M&A and/or equity capital markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong project‑management skills.
• Self‑driven, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.
