BIM Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to lead the creation and management of BIM models for the structural design discipline. The role works closely with engineers, project managers and the CAD/BIM manager to deliver accurate, up‑to‑date models throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BIM models from rough sketches, CAD files and engineering specifications.
• Produce BIM 2D documentation in line with project and organisational BIM standards.
• Update models with the latest information and ensure model quality.
• Verify construction documents against updated BIM models from all disciplines.
• Prepare authority submission drawings and coordinate design changes across disciplines.
• Follow the Project BIM Execution Plan, BIM workflow criteria and organisational content standards.
• Provide discipline models and content for BIM coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related drafting certification.
• Minimum six years of experience in design coordination within the construction industry.
• Strong planning abilities for modelling and drafting work.
• Good knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and construction processes.
• Team‑player attitude, passion for learning and willingness to adapt.
