BMS Project Manager

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Project Manager to lead on‑site projects that deliver smart, healthy, and sustainable building solutions. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects while coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, budget, and schedule and implement the project methodology.
• Coordinate communication with customers throughout all project phases.
• Manage subcontractors, supervise site work, and ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC policies, and performance standards.
• Identify risks, recommend resolutions, and secure variation orders.
• Control costs, track financial commitments, and manage purchase and delivery of materials.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, documents, and regular quality audits.
• Collaborate with the sales team on tender bidding and follow up on customer payments.
• Train customers on first‑year maintenance and hand over projects to service teams.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field with at least 8 years of experience in BMS systems.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to interact with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Willingness to work odd hours when project deadlines require it.
