Business Development Executive – Singapore

About the role

Sokin is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to expand its sales pipeline across Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, turning cold leads into qualified meetings for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Make consistent, high‑quality outbound calls to prospective business clients using a consultative approach.
• Research target companies and decision‑makers via LinkedIn, CRM intelligence, industry publications and referrals.
• Execute coordinated cold and warm outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn and other social channels, tailoring messages to each prospect’s cross‑border payment needs.
• Respond promptly to inbound and marketing‑generated leads, assess fit, and maintain momentum through persistent follow‑up.
• Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospects’ business models, international payment flows, FX exposure and pain points.
• Schedule qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team, providing full context for a smooth handover.
• Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate new opportunities.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, adaptable and resourceful with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and managing multiple outreach channels.
• Ability to quickly assess lead quality and maintain a disciplined follow‑up cadence.
• Interest in global payments, foreign exchange and B2B financial services.
