Business Development Manager

About the role

Quark Expeditions, the world leader in polar expedition travel, is expanding its presence in APAC. Based in Singapore, the Business Development Manager will drive growth across Southeast Asia and India by building a high‑quality pipeline of new partners and elevating existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the current sales pipeline while proactively identifying new business opportunities in target markets.
• Analyse market trends and customer needs to create short‑, mid‑ and long‑term sales plans aligned with revenue targets.
• Prospect, onboard and nurture agencies across retail consortia and wholesale channels to generate new revenue.
• Convert under‑performing accounts into high‑producing partnerships.
• Deliver product training (virtual and in‑person) and represent the brand at industry events.
• Use Salesforce and Softrip to track performance, manage offers and collaborate on lead strategy.

Required profile

• Solid progressive experience in sales or business development, preferably in travel, hospitality or related sectors.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Self‑motivated, organized and capable of managing schedules, travel and priorities independently.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Softrip or similar travel‑booking platforms.

What we offer

• Base salary of SGD 6,000 – 9,500 per month.
