Business Development Manager

About the role

YIBI Hantang is looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Singapore. The role focuses on identifying and building relationships with international fashion, beauty, fragrance and lifestyle brands that want to expand into China and the broader APAC region. You will work closely with founders, executives and commercial teams to evaluate market entry opportunities and support early‑stage partnership discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify promising international consumer brands in fashion, beauty, fragrance, wellness and lifestyle.
• Develop and nurture relationships with founders, senior executives and regional commercial stakeholders.
• Assess and quantify growth opportunities in China and other APAC markets.
• Conduct basic market and competitor analyses to inform entry strategies.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential brand partners and support cross‑border growth projects.
• Assist in early‑stage business discussions and partnership negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, international business, partnerships or commercial development.
• Background in fashion, beauty, fragrance, lifestyle or premium consumer brands is preferred.
• Strong relationship‑building and commercial acumen.
• Experience working across multiple markets, especially China and APAC.
• Excellent professional English communication skills.
