C++ Low Latency Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Low Latency Engineer to design and optimise high‑performance market‑data platforms that power real‑time trading. You will work on ultra‑fast, reliable systems that process massive data volumes across global financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, thread‑safe modern C++ code (C++17/20) targeting microsecond‑level latency.
• Profile and eliminate CPU bottlenecks, cache misses, and context‑switch overhead.
• Develop and maintain exchange connectivity layers using FIX, FAST and native binary protocols.
• Modernise legacy distribution frameworks into scalable, high‑throughput architectures.
• Implement microsecond‑level tracing, instrumentation and eBPF profiling for system telemetry.
• Provide Level‑3 production support, debugging concurrent issues to ensure maximum uptime.

Required profile

• Proven experience building high‑frequency trading engines or ultra‑low‑latency market‑data systems.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems programming, kernel internals, memory management, huge pages and CPU pinning.
• Strong background in lock‑free data structures, multithreading primitives and memory barriers.
• Hands‑on expertise with TCP/UDP socket programming, multicast streaming and custom serialization.
