About the role
We are building a dedicated CFD Business Development team at Gate, a leading crypto exchange. You will identify and win traditional finance clients, guiding them onto our platform and driving revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage CFD/forex introducing brokers (IBs), brokers and professional trading groups, presenting Gate’s products and partnership value.
- Guide traditional finance clients through the Web3 onboarding journey, simplifying transition and lowering barriers.
- Manage and grow channel relationships, responding to client needs and ensuring long‑term retention.
- Monitor competitor platforms and traditional forex brokers for market trends, policy shifts and IB commission structures, feeding insights to sharpen BD strategy.
- Track conversion metrics, pipeline progress and conduct regular channel reviews to meet trading volume targets.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of business development, channel sales or client relationship experience in CFD, forex or traditional brokerage/derivatives.
- Solid understanding of IB business models, trading workflows and commission/rebate structures.
- Strong prospecting and execution skills – able to run pitches, negotiate terms and close deals independently.
- Genuine curiosity about Web3, DeFi and crypto assets with a willingness to learn quickly.
- Business‑level proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
Required skills
- Knowledge of CFD/forex IB models and commission structures.
- Experience with client onboarding and relationship management.
- Familiarity with Web3, DeFi concepts.
