Chef de Partie – Breakfast

About the role

The Singapore EDITION is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to lead the breakfast service in its upscale hotel restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes, presentation and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, ensuring food safety and consistency.
• Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, arrange garnishes and manage inventory for daily specials.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to service staff and assist the Chef with excess‑food utilization.
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable role within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
