Civil & Structural Engineer (C&S Infrastructure)

About the role

The position is responsible for planning, designing, supervising and coordinating civil, structural and geotechnical works for local infrastructure projects. The engineer ensures that all design and construction activities comply with statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and designs for civil, structural and geotechnical components of infrastructure projects.
• Supervise site works, monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, contractors, consultants and authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist the Team Leader in maintaining high‑quality design outputs and supervision practices.
• Prepare and submit documentation required by local authorities and manage project approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
• 3 to 5 years of design and site experience in civil and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and local statutory requirements.
• Experience in managing project documentation and liaising with authorities.
• Good site management and consultancy communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural and geotechnical design software such as STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, Plaxis, GeoStudio and TEDDS.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an advantage.
