About the role
The Clinical Instructor will lead training and education initiatives for nursing staff and students within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for creating a supportive clinical learning environment and ensuring that all nursing personnel achieve and maintain required competency levels.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for nursing staff, students, and non‑nursing volunteers.
- Establish and manage a preceptorship scheme to support new staff integration.
- Coordinate unit‑based generic and specialty clinical training activities.
- Develop and implement nursing standards and ensure compliance with patient‑care protocols.
- Act as a resource for Nurse Managers on clinical education matters and medico‑legal risk mitigation.
- Conduct hospital‑wide training aligned with Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance (ACLP) – preferred.
- Specialist Diploma in Clinical Education – desirable.
- Minimum six (6) years of clinical care experience.
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
Required skills
