Cloud Operations Specialist (Senior Associate / Assistant Manager)

About the role

Changi Airport Group is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to oversee and optimise its cloud infrastructure. The role involves ensuring security, cost efficiency, and compliance while aligning cloud initiatives with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer cloud governance, manage contractors, budgets, and handle system onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Act as the primary liaison for cloud initiatives, coordinating between technical teams, management, and stakeholders.
• Drive internal approvals, facilitate steering committee discussions, and support procurement processes.
• Manage cloud operations, vendors, and budgets to achieve optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure enhancement projects and coordinate efforts across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards, internal governance, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven track record managing cloud operations, vendors, and budgets with a solid understanding of cloud security, governance and compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, ITIL, CCSP or project‑management credentials are advantageous.
