Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor to lead the mechanical discipline on site. You will ensure that construction and commissioning activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, supporting the company’s transition to lower‑carbon energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical construction and commissioning tasks, managing workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure all work follows approved plans, specifications, HSSE and quality regulations.
• Enforce HSSE protocols and monitor compliance throughout the site.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, project management and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance, manage handovers and implement changes to scope or plans.
• Prepare and submit regular reports highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role within the mechanical discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction and commissioning management processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and technical documents.
