Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer

About the role

SOMFY is looking for a Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer to manage demand planning, inventory optimisation and end‑to‑end logistics for its Singapore operations. The role combines customer order administration with supply chain coordination to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, sales forecasts and customer insights.
• Plan inventory, replenishment and supply balancing to align product availability with customer demand.
• Manage inbound logistics, including transportation, shipping and customs, to guarantee timely replenishment.
• Oversee the full customer order lifecycle – quotations, order entry, validation, scheduling, changes, delivery coordination, returns and communication.
• Coordinate outbound logistics, ensuring compliance, documentation and customer communication for shipments from warehouse to client sites.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or customer service.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse cultures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Salesforce and PowerBI.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook and standard Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (a plus).
