Cyber Threat Investigator

About the role

ASTEK is seeking a Cyber Threat Investigator to join its Singapore team. You will be responsible for producing tactical and operational threat intelligence, assessing emerging threats, and coordinating vulnerability remediation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Generate tactical and operational threat intelligence, tracking threat actors, campaigns, tools, and techniques.
• Rapidly triage emerging threats and newly disclosed vulnerabilities to determine relevance and impact.
• Analyze and prioritize CVEs using a risk‑based approach, considering exploitability, threat actor activity, and business context.
• Coordinate remediation efforts with asset and system owners, tracking progress and removing blockers.
• Convert technical findings into concise, actionable intelligence products and briefings for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Enrich intelligence with indicators of compromise (IOCs), TTPs, and contextual analysis to support detection and response.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5–7 years of experience in threat intelligence, security operations, or a closely related cybersecurity discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in tactical and operational threat intelligence, including threat actor tracking and analysis of TTPs and IOCs.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management concepts and risk‑based CVE prioritization.
• Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation with cross‑functional teams.
