Data & Security Compliance Intern

About the role

Univers is seeking a motivated Data & Security Compliance Intern for a six‑month placement. You will support the rollout of the OneTrust Governance platform and assist with third‑party and internal audit activities, gaining practical experience in privacy and compliance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate privacy and compliance documents (data inventories, vendor assessments, policies) from spreadsheets and legacy tools into OneTrust.
• Build, configure, and test OneTrust workflows for DPIAs, RoPAs, and third‑party risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, HR and other teams to validate data entered in OneTrust.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and collect feedback on workflow usability.
• Coordinate third‑party audits by gathering evidence, tracking submission status, and maintaining organized documentation.
• Document configuration notes, implementation progress, and lessons learned.
• Attend project meetings and provide status updates.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience or familiarity with the OneTrust platform.
