Demi Chef – Colony Kitchen

About the role

The Colony Kitchen is seeking a motivated Demi Chef to join its culinary team in Marina Bay, Singapore. You will work closely with the Chef to deliver high‑quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and support a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures; thaw and store food safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, garnish, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate specials and out‑of‑stock items to service staff.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching of kitchen staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance or safety issues.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work standing, walking or sitting for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
