Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

About the role

The Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) will be responsible for creating and finalising structural designs using specialised analysis software. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet all regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Model, analyse and finalise structural designs using structural analysis software.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, work method statements and risk assessments related to civil and structural works.
• Ensure all designs comply with statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Submit shop drawings to clients/consultants for approval.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, construction teams and M&E design teams to resolve discrepancies and technical issues.
• Prepare and verify calculation reports for submission.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably PE certified or degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore for Associate level.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works or soil‑structure interactions.
• Good knowledge of engineering design software and analytical tools.
• Applicants with less experience may be considered for an Engineer role.
