Deskside Technician II

About the role

Stefanini is seeking a Deskside Technician II to provide on‑site hardware support and break/fix services for enterprise clients. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining end‑user devices while ensuring timely ticket resolution through ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware failures on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Perform urgent break/fix replacements following knowledge‑base articles and work instructions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and lifecycle management of equipment.
• Manage ServiceNow queues, update tickets, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain site hardware asset inventory, consumables count, and loaner pool.
• Support IMACR/D (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove/Dispose) requests.
• Coordinate warranty repairs with OEMs and escort technicians when needed.
• Assist with network, datacenter, and other physical incident support as required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of multiple hardware manufacturers and operating systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for technical audiences.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with reliable attendance and schedule adherence.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance if local travel is required.
