Digital Business Analyst – Regulatory Risk & Compliance (Financial Services)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join its Risk Services practice, focusing on regulatory risk and compliance for financial‑services clients. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and help deliver technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document user requirements and user stories through workshops and deep‑dive sessions with end users.
• Perform gap analyses and assess user experience to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate requirements to system analysts, developers and external vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Define and execute user‑acceptance and system‑integration testing strategies, creating test cases and tracking defects.
• Assist clients during testing phases, highlighting critical issues before production rollout.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Finance, Risk, Operations and Compliance.
• Apply knowledge of system development lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Required profile

• Senior‑associate level experience in regulatory risk, compliance or related advisory services.
• Strong understanding of the financial‑services sector (banking, insurance, etc.).
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall approaches.
