Digital Tax Business Analyst – Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Join PwC’s Digital Tax team as a Business Analyst focused on corporate tax. You will work at the intersection of tax expertise and technology, helping clients automate and optimise tax processes through innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, develop functional and non‑functional specifications, and collaborate with developers on system implementation or enhancements.
• Bridge the gap between technology and business users by creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and supporting project managers throughout end‑to‑end delivery.
• Embed tax needs into IT systems to improve automation, data quality, and compliance reporting.
• Ensure the usability and suitability of tax technology solutions for end‑users.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with a strong corporate tax background.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑starter with a keen interest in leveraging technology to solve problems.

Required skills

• Knowledge of software development life‑cycle.
• Experience with database systems such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath) – preferred.
