Director – Infrastructure Finance Credit Officer

About the role

The bank is seeking a Director to lead its Infrastructure Finance Credit function in Singapore, covering South Asia, Southeast Asia, Korea and other APAC markets. You will be responsible for evaluating and approving complex infrastructure financing structures while ensuring rigorous credit risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Challenge and assess financing proposals across project, holding‑company, portfolio, acquisition and hybrid structures.
• Review sponsor support, concession frameworks, contracts, legal documentation and security packages.
• Analyse financial projections, downside scenarios, refinancing options and cash‑flow resilience.
• Identify key credit and structural risks, draft executive summaries and provide independent credit recommendations.
• Approve transactions within delegated limits or escalate to senior authorities.
• Manage a portfolio of infrastructure financing exposures across the APAC region, performing annual reviews and obligor grading.
• Monitor sector concentrations, market developments and credit trends, delivering portfolio analytics.
• Maintain expertise in renewables, power, data centres, transport and natural resources, ensuring policy compliance and enhancing risk frameworks.

Required profile

• Good bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, credit risk management or related fields.
• Proven track record assessing complex infrastructure financing transactions and structuring credit agreements.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure and project finance structures, construction and operational risks, and related legal documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complex issues into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders.
