E2E Solution Architect

About the role

The E2E Solution Architect will lead the design and migration of Singtel’s live Ericsson Dual Mode Core network, moving from a 2‑site NFVi deployment to a resilient, cloud‑native 3‑site CNIS architecture. The role combines deep 5G/4G core expertise with cloud‑native design, ensuring service continuity for millions of subscribers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture across 4G EPC, 5G SA Core, signalling, charging, subscriber data management and cloud infrastructure; produce HLDs, LLDs, migration and rollback plans.
• Drive migration from NFVi (CCD/CEE) to CNIS, planning multi‑site traffic migration, ISSU, disaster recovery and failover with zero customer impact.
• Govern Kubernetes cluster design, CNF onboarding, networking, storage, security and observability; ensure N+1/N+2 resiliency and geo‑redundancy.
• Define software upgrade and lifecycle strategies, lead EOM modernization roadmaps, and manage CI/CD and GitOps frameworks with IaC and automated validation.
• Chair architecture reviews, conduct risk assessments, and align Core, Cloud, Transport, OSS and Security teams.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to Singtel’s CTO and executive steering committees, presenting roadmaps and solution strategies.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Ericsson 5G SA Core and 4G EPC components.
• Strong background in cloud‑native telecom platforms (CNIS, CCD, CEE) and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale network transformations with minimal service disruption.
• Experience in technical governance, risk assessment and executive stakeholder communication.
• Deep understanding of storage, networking, service mesh and disaster‑recovery concepts.
