Engineering Manager – Parts Making & Fabrication

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving manufacturing processes that produce advanced, critical parts. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective products while driving technology road‑maps and ensuring the team’s capabilities align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution and planning for new product introductions (NPI) and transition to robust volume production.
• Oversee process‑engineering initiatives targeting cost savings, improvements and change management for mature products.
• Lead conceptual analysis of capital projects and enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Explore, implement and optimise new manufacturing methods together with production teams.
• Define and enhance engineering methods to boost productivity, quality and technology adoption.
• Assess team capability gaps, create competence development plans and foster continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required or to be obtained).
• Proven track record of leading continuous‑improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
