EPR Compliance Specialist – Asia Pacific

About the role

Join RLG, the circular‑economy arm of Reconomy, as an EPR Compliance Specialist for the Asia Pacific region. You will help customers meet Extended Producer Responsibility obligations across waste streams such as electronics, batteries, packaging and textiles, turning regulatory complexity into business opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for APAC customers on EPR questions and ensure their compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor and analyse EPR legislation in key markets (e.g., Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia) and keep internal knowledge up to date.
• Maintain relationships with regional legislative bodies, authorities and compliance schemes.
• Assess customers’ EPR obligations, design implementation scenarios and work with the expert team to execute them.
• After training, process product and sales data to generate compliance reports and submit them to relevant schemes and national authorities.
• Contribute to the evolution of RLG’s service portfolio, strengthening its position as a global one‑stop‑shop for EPR compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental policy, circular economy, sustainability, waste management or a related field.
• Ability to handle legal, data‑driven and financial aspects of compliance.
• Experience or strong interest in EPR obligations for WEEE, batteries and packaging in the Asia Pacific region.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and using analytical tools.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
