Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Micron is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team in Singapore. The technician will ensure that electro‑mechanical tools and equipment run reliably, supporting the production of advanced memory and storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble tools according to blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and schedule check‑outs using test and diagnostic equipment.
• Rebuild or modify manufacturing equipment as directed by engineers.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic preferred).
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies (preferred).
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
