Executive Engineer – Coastal Structures

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Engineer specialized in coastal engineering to design and analyse quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation projects. You will work closely with project leads, design managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and sustainable coastal infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform civil & structural and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures.
• Plan and interpret site investigations, including soil and biodiversity studies.
• Manage sub‑contracts such as soil investigation, accredited checking and biodiversity contracts.
• Supervise design and on‑site activities to ensure compliance with statutory standards and codes of practice.
• Engage with clients, design teams and construction personnel to coordinate project delivery.
• Support tender preparation and project pursuit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering recognised by BCA/IES/ACES.
• 2–5 years of experience on large‑scale infrastructure or reclamation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and resourceful.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Plaxis for geotechnical modelling.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
