External Audit Manager, Core Audit

About the role

EY is looking for a driven External Audit Manager to lead core audit engagements. You will shape client relationships, guide project teams, and deliver high‑quality audit services in a fast‑growing business area.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute audit strategies in line with EY policies, consulting senior managers or partners as needed.
• Perform complex audit procedures personally and lead engagement teams based on project size.
• Manage projects profitably, ensuring efficient team performance and adherence to timelines.
• Monitor progress against plans, adjusting approaches when required.
• Identify and develop business development opportunities, generating new audit work.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering technical competency and independent thinking.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with other assurance teams and build long‑term client networks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA qualification in Singapore.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant audit experience.
