Facilities Manager – Construction & Operations

About the role

The Facilities Manager will lead the planning, design, procurement and construction phases for Marina Bay Sands facilities. You will work closely with internal departments and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cost plans, project programmes and value‑engineering strategies during pre‑construction.
• Prepare and manage RFPs, RFQs, tender documents and coordinate bid opening and evaluation.
• Conduct constructability reviews, permit submissions and regulatory agency tracking.
• Lead contractor qualification, bid award recommendations and contract negotiations.
• Maintain cost control reports, variation registers and payment certification processes.
• Oversee contract administration, change‑order negotiations and document control throughout construction.
• Coordinate inter‑departmental meetings, prepare agendas, minutes and action items.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale facilities or construction projects.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for multi‑disciplinary coordination.
