Finance Analyst – Photonics Platforms Business

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Finance Analyst to manage Opex, Capex and spend for its Photonics Platforms Business in Singapore. You will partner with business stakeholders to drive spending discipline, forecast accuracy and investment optimization while supporting grant management and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day Opex, Capex and spend management, reporting and variance analysis for Singapore operations.
• Maintain and analyze standard cost drivers, perform monthly inventory counts and drive process improvements in costing and inventory management.
• Consolidate financials for P&L forecasting, develop automated dashboards and improve forecasting and reporting processes.
• Track and support grant submissions, claims and quarterly reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and managing Opex, Capex and inventory.
• Proven ability to partner across functions and communicate financial insights effectively.
