Finance Controller

About the role

Colliers is seeking a Finance Controller to lead budgeting, financial reporting and risk management for its regional commercial operations. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director, you will act as a strategic business partner and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process and manage day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Provide insight and analysis to support business decisions and optimize finance resource deployment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and internal company guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal audit to manage risk and maintain data integrity.
• Oversee a team of Finance Managers and internal/external accountants to deliver accurate bookkeeping, month‑end close, balance‑sheet and P&L reviews.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets and coordinate statutory reporting, audit and tax filings.
• Review and improve accounting processes, internal controls and finance system integration.
• Manage corporate tax preparation, including ECI, GST and other statutory reports.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of relevant experience in a commercial finance environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax law, US GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior business leaders.
