Freight Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Freight Operations Supervisor (MNX) will lead customer‑focused freight activities, coordinating air and sea shipments while ensuring high service standards for key accounts. This role blends operational oversight with proactive client communication in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction through timely communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate air and sea freight shipments, arrange bookings with carriers, and secure cargo space.
• Prepare and process billing, invoicing, and import/export documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Handle customs clearance, permit declarations, and CAPA coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring efficient handling of inquiries and service requests.
• Support cross‑functional projects and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in air‑freight logistics, freight forwarding, or related operational roles.
• Prior supervisory or people‑management experience is preferred.
• Valid TradeNet™ declaration permit account/ID (preferred) and working knowledge of CargoWise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
