Full Stack Engineer – Government Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable digital solutions for a nationwide government digital transformation initiative. You will work with modern web technologies and cloud services to deliver high‑impact applications that serve the public sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Next.js, React, and Node.js.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless interaction with internal and external systems.
• Build, deploy, and support cloud‑native applications on AWS using Docker, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Design and optimise databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) while implementing secure coding practices, IM8 compliance, and web accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and Agile teams to deliver high‑quality solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve the platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full‑stack software development.
• Proven experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js (or equivalent frameworks).
• Hands‑on experience developing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS and using Docker.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, application security, IM8 compliance, and web accessibility.
• Background delivering enterprise or government digital solutions in Agile environments.
