Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, test and deploy software applications that support government digital services and citizen‑facing platforms. The role involves close collaboration with UX designers and other engineers to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy web applications and systems for government digital services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security and performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create user‑centric product designs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with modern web applications using JavaScript.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum.
• Strong self‑management, growth mindset and willingness to share knowledge.

Required skills

• Frontend development with React.js.
• Backend development with Go and/or Node.js.
• Automated testing using Karma, Mocha, Chai and Sinon.
• Database management – both relational and non‑relational.
• Containerisation with Docker and CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS or other PaaS solutions.
