GL Accountant (SAP/HANA) – 1 Year Contract

About the role

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Singapore. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records through accurate month‑end close activities, while supporting various departments and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Post monthly accruals, cost reallocations, pre‑payments and manage open PO accrual journals.
• Run fixed‑asset depreciation cycles, confirm loan balances and perform Work Breakdown Structure settlements.
• Execute revaluations on key accounts, prepare inter‑company summaries and reconcile loans.
• Manage SAP period‑end closings, submit cash‑flow statistics and prepare continuity schedules for PPE and intangible assets.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations using reconciliation worksheets and OneStream.
• Conduct SOX journal reviews, quarterly survey submissions and lead finance improvement projects such as asset disposals or ledger clean‑up.
• Act as the primary SAP user for troubleshooting system issues across departments.
• Prepare audit and Fringe Benefits Tax responses, generate Form 5 tenement reports and handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
