Global Client Executive – Transaction Banking (Vice President)

About the role

The Global Client Executive is a senior, client‑facing position within Citi’s Transaction Banking division. You will act as the primary advocate for a portfolio of top‑tier corporate clients, delivering strategic advice and aligning Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions with their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with senior client executives, serving as a trusted advisor for treasury and financial needs.
• Own commercial performance of the portfolio, identifying cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities to meet revenue targets.
• Leverage client feedback, performance data and market trends to provide strategic insights that drive client satisfaction and business growth.
• Champion client interests across internal teams—including Sales, Product, Operations and Service—to resolve complex issues quickly.
• Lead proactive account reviews, develop comprehensive account plans, and ensure product adoption aligned with client objectives.
• Communicate client needs, product requirements and strategic priorities to internal stakeholders to enable coordinated execution.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a senior client‑facing role within corporate banking, relationship management or sales, with a proven record of delivering strategic projects.
• Strong strategic thinking ability and experience developing forward‑looking growth plans.
