Global Procurement Manager (Indirect)

About the role

We are looking for a Global Procurement Manager (Indirect) to lead category management for indirect spend across the SJ group worldwide. The role will drive strategic sourcing, supplier lifecycle management and collaborate with cross‑regional teams to deliver procurement solutions that enhance business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for key group commodities such as professional services, IT, travel and other indirect spend.
• Act as a trusted business partner, building strong relationships with business units and understanding their needs.
• Coordinate with global and regional partners to share best practices, align strategies and scale initiatives globally.
• Identify, onboard and manage vendors, leading RFX processes, contract negotiations and partnership management.
• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement operations, including contract execution, tracking deliverables and ensuring compliance with SJ policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitor supplier performance and mitigate potential disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Strong analytical abilities to optimise complex procurement situations.
• Self‑motivated, result‑driven and able to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage multiple stakeholders.
