Graduate Associate – Actuarial Consulting (Life)

About the role

KPMG Singapore is seeking motivated graduates to join its Actuarial Services team. As a Graduate Associate you will support life‑insurance clients on audits, advisory projects and regulatory initiatives, gaining exposure to a broad range of actuarial work.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in actuarial audits and advisory engagements for direct insurers and reinsurers.
• Support IFRS 17 projects, including gap assessments, financial impact analysis, testing, model enhancements and parallel‑run reporting.
• Conduct fund reviews, internal audits, peer reviews and expense studies.
• Assist on M&A due‑diligence, business planning, projection and strategy assignments.
• Build and maintain actuarial models using Prophet and Excel to inform client decisions.
• Advise clients on accounting, regulatory changes, claims, pricing, reserving and market studies.
• Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with KPMG offices worldwide on cross‑border projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Graduation date expected between January 2026 and September 2027.
• Willingness to pursue actuarial examinations with a recognised body (SOA, IFoA, Actuaries Institute).
