Group Reporting Director

About the role

The Group Reporting Director will lead the Group Financial Reporting function for a regional technology organisation operating across multiple international markets. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this senior role provides high‑visibility exposure to senior stakeholders and drives reporting excellence in a complex multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Manage the Group consolidation process across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, non‑controlling interests and cash‑flow reporting.
• Ensure timely, accurate and high‑quality reporting in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Drive continuous improvements to the financial close and consolidation processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters under U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments and maintain Group accounting policies.
• Lead the Group’s reporting activities during external audits and statutory reporting cycles.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and support governance initiatives.
• Partner with regional finance teams to ensure compliance with standards, statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Present reporting matters and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA.
• 12‑15 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, technical accounting and audit.
• Strong experience managing reporting across multiple legal entities and international operations.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
