Head of HR – Construction & Engineering

About the role
We are exclusively supporting a confidential search for an established multinational organisation with a strong presence in Singapore and across the region. The organisation is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead its people agenda while overseeing five key pillars: HR, Administration, Training & Development, Building & Facilities, and Compliance & Governance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the HR and people strategy aligned with business objectives, covering workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, talent and succession.
- Oversee Training & Development, including needs analysis, annual training plans, capability development and leadership programmes.
- Manage Administration and corporate services, establishing efficient processes, policies, vendor contracts and service standards.
- Direct Building, Facilities and Maintenance operations to ensure a safe, secure and well‑maintained workplace, managing vendors and compliance with safety and business continuity requirements.
- Lead Compliance & Governance, ensuring adherence to Singapore laws, statutory requirements and group policies, and managing audits and risk remediation.
- Monitor metrics, costs and risks across all pillars and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field.
- 8+ years of HR experience with broad strategic and operational exposure.
- Proven HR leadership and business partnering experience with senior management.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience overseeing HR, Administration, Training, Facilities and/or Compliance is highly advantageous.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
