Human Resource Manager (HR Business Partner)

About the role

You will join a team of HR business partners supporting designated business groups, providing strategic HR advice across workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development and policy guidance. The role acts as a bridge between corporate HR and business leaders, ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic liaison between corporate HR and business groups, partnering with management to implement HR initiatives and programmes.
• Adopt a proactive, consultative approach to continuously review and adapt HR policies and programmes to business needs and organisational direction.
• Provide HR insights and advice across all HR domains, aligning actions with policies and resolving policy‑related matters.
• May be assigned to Centre of Excellence projects such as organisational planning, talent management programmes, or special HR initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant HR Business Partnering experience aligning HR strategies with business needs.
• Understanding of Public Service HR processes; experience with Workday is advantageous.
• Independent yet collaborative, with proven ability to work across HR teams to solve complex issues.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting small or growing teams, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving proactive solutions.
