Human Resources Executive

About the role

Valiram, a leading luxury goods and retail specialist in Southeast Asia, is seeking a Human Resources Executive to partner with its local retail teams. The role focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving employee engagement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies.
• Support onboarding, retention programs, and initiatives aimed at reducing turnover.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance.
• Identify training needs, coordinate development programs, and facilitate sessions for staff and managers.
• Assist with performance appraisal processes, succession planning, and talent development.
• Collect and analyse HR metrics, preparing regular reports on trends and key indicators.
• Support change‑management activities, addressing employee concerns during organizational transitions.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistent with legal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR functions within a retail or multi‑brand environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting HR data and making data‑driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
