Interior Design Project Manager – Singapore

About the role

Hachem Architecture is seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to lead high‑end hospitality and commercial projects in Singapore. You will work closely with the Principal Director to translate client briefs into detailed interior solutions while overseeing the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal to capture client requirements and define project scope, style, and size.
• Organise planning processes, including design schedules, material selections, cost estimates, and construction timelines.
• Lead project teams through programming, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Negotiate with design consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Prepare preliminary sketches, scale drawings, architectural drawings, and specifications for client and authority submission.
• Provide expert guidance to hotel operators and ensure compliance with hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hotel and hospitality projects.
• Proven leadership and client‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (at least 4 years of hands‑on use).
• Strong CAD skills.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with specification software such as Specsources.
