International Wealth Management Business Auditor

About the role

Nomura is seeking an experienced International Wealth Management Business Auditor to join its Internal Audit division in Singapore. Reporting to the Regional Portfolio Director – Wealth Management and Asset Management, you will lead assurance activities across the regional wealth management business.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit plan.
• Lead, plan and execute audits of wealth management operations, collaborating with IT Audit and Data Analytics specialists.
• Identify emerging risks, draft audit findings, and propose practical solutions to senior management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations, assess residual risk and validate remedial actions.
• Execute quarterly continuous monitoring to update risk assessments and audit universe.
• Apply Nomura’s audit methodology and supervise junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in banking, consulting, external audit or regulatory roles, with at least 3 years in internal audit within the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of private banking and wealth management, including offshore banking, regulatory requirements, and investment products across asset classes.
• Experience defining business requirements for data‑analytics audits.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English, independent work style, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Accounting, quantitative or related professional qualification is preferred.
