Assistant Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support our Commercial Banking division by ensuring seamless client management and service delivery. This role involves handling account opening, internet banking setup, payment services, loan servicing, and post‑approval activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to commercial business units for smooth client interactions.
• Facilitate account opening, maintenance, internet banking activation, and payment services.
• Assist with loan servicing and post‑approval processes.
• Support client servicing requests and ensure timely, accurate transaction execution.
• Prepare the Customer Risk Rating Dashboard (CRRD) and conduct name‑screening checks.
• Handle administrative duties such as mailings, document preparation, printing, and filing.
• Perform ad‑hoc operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Banking, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in banking operations, client servicing, or commercial banking support is advantageous.
• Familiarity with account opening, KYC/CDD, and basic credit processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
