Korean Localization Games Tester – Freelance

About the role

TransPerfect Games is looking for native Korean speakers to join its freelance team as Game Localization QA Testers. You will work on a variety of titles, from indie projects to AAA releases, ensuring that Korean language content is accurate, consistent, and culturally appropriate. The role is onsite at the Singapore office during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, isolate, document and verify localization and linguistic issues using test tools and databases.
• Execute test cases and checklists to perform targeted functional and regression testing.
• Write clear bug reports following company standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with development and partner teams to communicate findings and verify fixes.
• Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance from a Korean market perspective.
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Native Korean speaker with excellent command of Korean grammar, punctuation and terminology.
• Passionate gamer with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite in Singapore and provide proof of right to work.
• Willingness to receive and act on constructive feedback.

Required skills

• Ability to spot linguistic errors and inconsistencies in Korean text.
• Experience with manual testing and bug reporting processes.
