Learning and Development Manager – Retail

About the role

Starbucks Singapore is seeking a Learning and Development Manager (Retail) to shape and execute its retail learning strategy. You will enable store partners and leaders to build the capabilities required for operational excellence and the iconic Starbucks Experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement learning strategies, programmes and workshops aligned with business priorities.
• Develop and maintain the retail training framework, including delivery standards, certification requirements and effectiveness metrics.
• Partner with operations, retail leaders and cross‑functional teams to identify learning needs and ensure alignment with business decisions.
• Manage the Workday Learning Management System, digital learning library, training budgets, vendor contracts and compliance requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the L&D team, setting goals, measuring results and fostering a strong learning culture.

Required profile

• ACTA or ACLP certification.
• Proven experience leading learning and development initiatives in retail, hospitality or fast‑paced service environments.
• Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and project‑management abilities.
